Money Donated So Far #10 and upcoming events

As at the 29th October 2010, the sum of $2600.00 has been donated back to the community groups as listed below:-

The next recipient in line is the Marysville Girl Guides.

Some things that you can do to support Marysville and help them get back on their feet.

The 2nd November, 2010 is the Sparkling Wine Festival, the only festival celebrating Sparkling Wine in Victoria. It will be held in Marysville on the 2nd November 2010.

There will be stalls, tastings, sampling, an easy 90 minute drive from Melbourne CBD.

The 7th November, 2010 is the 2nd Annual Marysville Marathon, from the less athletic of us, there is a 3km walk. Why not give it a try? For the more adventurous (and experienced) there are 10km up to 40km Marathon. It's still not too late to book your place.

I will be at the Marysville Marathon, with copies of The Marysville Cookbook, of which $10 from each sale goes straight back to the community. Why not drop past and see me if you are around?

The Marysville Cookbook is simple food for complicated times, easy ingredients, easy preparation, and for the whole family. The index is a little different to normal also, it shows the main ingredient of each recipe and means that when you open the fridge door, you can reference the index and find a recipe to match!
