Apricot Slice

1 Cup of Chopped Dried Appricots
1 Cup of Coconut
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
125g of Melted Butter
1 Cup of Self-Raising Flour
1 Egg
1 Cup of Chopped Dates

Soak the apricots in hot water for 30 minutes. Mix the other ingredients with the drained apricots. Then dpread into a biscuit tin. Bake in a moderate over. Ice with lemon icing and cut into squares and serve.
