Pasta with Bacon



Here is another recipe from my book titled “Cookbook for Marysville” You can purchase this book directly from myself, with the funds going directly to the township of Marysville (The current recipient is the Christ Church Guild). The recipient of the funding will change as needs arise.

250g of Pasta
3 Bacon Rashers, Chopped
1 Onion, Chopped
1 Tbspn of Lemon Juice
¼ Cup of Cream
3 Green Shallots, Chopped

Add pasta gradually to a large pot of rapidly boiling water, boil, uncovered for 10 minutes or until just tender; drain. Combine bacon and onion in a fry pan and cook until the onion is soft. Add pasta and lemon juice, cook 1 minute. Stir in the cream and shallots. Stir over a low heat, without boiling, until heated through.
